BHMS Course Duration
NCH के BHMS Regulations के अनुसार BHMS programme की कुल अवधि 5 वर्ष 6 महीने है। इसमें professional study के साथ 12 महीने की compulsory rotatory internship शामिल है।
Course Structure
- First Professional BHMS: 18 months
- Second Professional BHMS: 12 months
- Third Professional BHMS: 12 months
- Fourth/Final Professional BHMS: 12 months
- Compulsory Rotatory Internship: 12 months

BHMS Eligibility
NCH के BHMS Regulations में admission eligibility के लिए 10+2 या equivalent examination में Physics, Chemistry और Biology के साथ qualifying requirements दी गई हैं।
Regulations के अनुसार:
- Candidate ने recognised board से 10+2/equivalent पास किया हो।
- Physics, Chemistry और Biology subjects होने चाहिए।
- General category के लिए PCB में minimum 50% marks का requirement दिया गया है।
- SC/ST/OBC candidates के लिए PCB में minimum 40% marks का provision दिया गया है।
- Persons with specified disabilities के लिए अलग qualifying criteria दिया गया है।

BHMS में NEET कितने Marks चाहिए?
यहाँ एक important difference समझना जरूरी है।
NCH regulations में NEET percentile-based eligibility का provision दिया गया है। General category के लिए 50th percentile और SC/ST/OBC candidates के लिए 40th percentile का उल्लेख है; specified disabilities के लिए अलग provisions हैं।
लेकिन किसी particular BHMS college में admission के लिए actual cutoff marks/rank हर year अलग हो सकता है।

BHMS में Practical Training
BHMS केवल theory-based degree नहीं है।
NCH regulations में practical, clinical और demonstrative teaching को programme का हिस्सा बनाया गया है। इसमें clinical classes, OPD/IPD exposure, community/peripheral OPD, laboratory training, case-based learning, skill-lab training और early clinical exposure जैसे components शामिल हो सकते हैं।

BHMS Internship
BHMS programme में 12 months compulsory rotatory internship शामिल है।
Internship students को practical healthcare environment में training और clinical exposure प्राप्त करने का अवसर देती है।
2025 के NCH amendment में internship eligibility से संबंधित provisions में भी बदलाव किया गया है। Amendment के अनुसार student को first से fourth professional examinations में subjects pass करने और संबंधित State Board/Council से provisional registration certificate प्राप्त करने के बाद compulsory internship programme में शामिल होने की eligibility दी गई है।
