NCISM के Minimum Standards of Undergraduate Unani Education Regulations, 2022 के अनुसार BUMS programme की कुल अवधि 5 वर्ष 6 महीने है। इसमें 4 वर्ष 6 महीने का professional teaching/training programme और 12 महीने की compulsory rotatory internship शामिल है।

BUMS के लिए Eligibility
BUMS में admission के लिए candidate को संबंधित eligibility requirements पूरी करनी होती हैं।
NEET information और applicable regulations के अनुसार BUMS admission के लिए मुख्य रूप से:
- 12th/Intermediate या equivalent examination पास होना चाहिए।
- Physics, Chemistry और Biology subjects होने चाहिए।

AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee) BUMS सहित BAMS, BSMS और BHMS courses के लिए All India Quota counselling conduct करता है।
